Kingbright Unveils New Dome-Lens in 0603 SMD Package

Kingbright unveils its latest landmark product in development of industry’s first 0603 dome lens package - HELIOS SMD LEDs (KPTD-1608 series). The element’s remarkable compact design (1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.95mm) with 0.70mm dome lens feature provides focused beams within narrow viewing angle of 60°, giving a high typical luminous intensity output up to 3000 mcd @ 20mA. Available in blue, green, orange, red and yellow, the product’s wide colour offerings extend aesthetic benefits for designers of various sign, appliance, interior & exterior automotive lighting, and backlight & indicator applications. This low power consumption, IR reflow solderable device meets industrial temperature ratings of -40°C to +85°C and is specially designed for automatic pick-and-place mounting process to reduce production costs.
